Ex-Trump staffers confirm birth of child conceived during campaign

A married former White House aide says he fathered a child with one of President Trump’s transition advisers during the 2016 campaign.

Jason Miller told in a Thursday statement that his wife and family are accepting the birth of his son, William, with former Trump campaign senior adviser A.J. Delgado.

“My wife and I, along with our two daughters, are excited to welcome William into the world and into our family, and we appreciate the well wishes we’ve received from so many,” Miller said of the child, born last month.

Miller was named White House communications director in December, but just two days later, saying that spending time with his family was his “top priority.” Miller’s wife gave birth to a girl in January. He’s now a managing director at private consulting firm Teneo.

Delgado announced the July birth of her first child, William, in a Tuesday tweet:

Delgado dubbed the Post’s story inaccurate, pointing to five “wrong facts” in the piece. She also appeared to take issue with Miller’s statement.

Delgado indicated Wednesday night that a piece with her side of the story would be forthcoming.
